Ok I’ve about had it with these cheap outdoor post lights that walmart sells. Over the last few years I’ve replace the light on the top of the post that lines my driveway 3 times. Each time it seems that the plastic hinges on the post light break and the top goes flying off in some snow storm. I’ve never really been fond of the setup that I have as its a solar powered light that isnt’ controlled by a switch in the house like the wall mounted outdoor lights I have on either side of my garage door. I’ve finally decided to break down and buy a more expensive style of light fixture to put on that stupid post. This one I actually found at Menards who was having a clearance sale on outdoor lights over the Christmas shopping season. READ the Health Care Bill Being Proposed
The house ways and means committee has released a copy of the one thousand plus page “America`s Affordable Health Choices Act: Complete Bill Text (H.R. 3200)“. No I have not had the opportunity to read it yet, but from the information I have read and heard both through online media, television and the newspaper this is something I’m definitely not interested in having shoved down my throat. I will take the time to read it over this weekend and if it lives up to the reputation its getting from the press I for one will be calling my Senators and Representatives and voicing my opinion. I highly encourage everyone that visits this site to read the bill and make their own judgement. If even a portion of the things I’ve been hearing about the bill are true this will ruin the economy, heath care and the United States as we know it today. I sure hope I have to make a post retracting my current feelings on this after I read the whole bill. Free Krispy Kreme Doughnut For National Donut Day
June 5th I guess is National doughnut Day and Krispy Kreme is giving away a free doughnut to celebrate this tribute to the doughnut. This is the first time i’ve ever heard of a day dedicated to this delightful treat. I’m not sure where in our area if any will be giving away dougnuts. The last time I went by Jefferson point the Krispy Kreme store was closing. Perhaps with a nudge one of the vendors in town that sells Krispy Kreme’s will be kind enough to help Decatur celebrate this unique day. Hint Hint!!
