I think drug testing kids who have driving privileges is also unnecessary. It just shows how unintelligent the South Adams Junior/Senior High School board is. I can understand testing students in extra-curricular activities, also students playing sports.

Testing students who have driving privileges is very weird in terms of the school issuing the test. How does the school have concern for our students when they are trying to put our students in jail.

We all know what would come of this if some student would happen to test positive for illegal drugs. South Adams would get the police involved, which in turn deprives our students of their education because they are wasting their time in jail. DEPRIVING students of their education is what South Adams is against isn’t it? So why would they be wanting to put our kids jail if a student would test positive?

I will never have respect for South Adams, if they would conduct such tests. This I think is where we as parents stand.

If students are being tested that have driving privileges, then the whole administration,board, and staff should also be tested too. They to are apart of South Adams. In order to keep drugs out of school we should start by testing who we trust our kids with, the school itself. Those who even thought about the idea of testing all the students with driving privileges should be tested first to make sure they are not on drugs themselves for thinking of such a stupid idea.
