I know this post doesnt have much to do with Decatur but as I make a huge portion of my extra income online through the use of the ebay affilaite program on my other sites I thought I would post about it as it could drastically impact my income and that of others that make income online. Ebay today announced that it is changing how it will pay its affiliates for new users. No longer will it be a flat payout for new ebay users you refer to ebay but instead will be a scaled payout based on the expected value of the customer you send to ebay. Now this may not seem like it will have a big impact on your online income but it could change your marketing strategy and how you make your extra income. I personally am not to sure how much difference it will make on my income as I dont get much of my extra income from the new customer referals anyway. If however your extra income is soley based on sending new users to ebay you may have to reconsider how you utilize the ebay affiliate program to make your extra income.
