Decatur Daily Democrat Reports On School Board Meeting

Rent.com banner #9I was amazed to find that the Decatur Daily Democrat today published an article reporting that the North Adams county school board is considering firing the assistant principal. As most in the area know, He was put on administrative leave after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor charge after shoplifting from the Decatur Wal-mart. It appears there are legal processes that need to be followed that require a minimum 30-day notice to the employee before a hearing can take place on the matter of terminating him.

I was unable to attend the school board meeting in Decatur this evening as I had prior engagements. If anyone attended and would like to fill us in on the details feel free to leave a comment. It looks like the investigation and process is definitely moving forward.

It was not a general employee of Walmart that witnessed the theft. It was the loss/prevention employee who caught him.
