Belmont University Hosts 2008 Presidential Debate

College FinderBelmont University will host the second Presidential debate for this year’s election. Belmont is a small Christian university, located in Tennessee with around 5000 students enrolled. They will be the in the national spotlight tonight as John McCain and Barack Obama face off in what is sure to be a deciding factor in this years presidential election. Many election analysists are stating that this election debate could be the turning point in either of the candidate’s election campaigns.

According to most election polls Barack Obama is currently holding the lead going into tonight’s showdown. Many voters are looking to answers from both candidates on the current economic situation, national security and the future of US healthcare.

This year’s presidential election much like the primary election could very well hinge on the Indiana voter and how they cast their vote for President. Indiana is typically won by the Republican candidate, but latest election polls show our fair state as up for grabs. Many Indiana voters took the opportunity to start casting absentee ballots yesterday throughout the state.

I would like to encourage everyone to take the time this evening to view the Presidential debate and closely examine both of the candidates. It is a privilege to have the opportunity to cast your vote for the President of the United States and you shouldn’t take the decision lightly. The outcome of this years election is especially critical as the country is not only in an economic crisis but the security threats, border issues and raising health care will all need to be addressed during the up coming years. You want a Presidential candidate that will lead our nation going into the future that will share your vision for the country.

If you don’t have the opportunity to view tonight’s political debate then please take the time before the November elections to fully research each presidential candidate and their position on each of the issues that are face our Nation in the upcoming years.
