SellingDirty Blue Widgets at the local flea market?In today’s economy and the massive downturn in the stock market, many people are becoming more and more concerned about their retirement. Rightfully so, since most of us have seen our 401k balances plummet to unbelievable levels. But what are you doing to secure your retirement? You can take the sit back and wait and see approach, hopefully social security will still be there. You can continue as you were making contributions to a 401k day after day in hopes of a big payoff at retirement age just to see the market crash and lose it all.
I know this is a scary time in the economy and it has made me put things into perspective a little bit more. As most readers know I’ve been dabbling in making extra income on line as a way to get some extra spending cash for those must have toys, like fishing boats, campers, new grills, and other non essential purchase that my budget just doesn’t allow for currently. I’ve since turned my making extra income into more of an extra retirement fund. I’m happy to say that for the past 6 month’s I have averaged an additional $500 per month by just creating blogs. No this site isn’t included as one of my money making sites as it barely covers its own expenses, it wasn’t designed to make money. This site is my outlet for thoughts, concerns and general gripes about local, state and national topics.
If your unemployed, making less money than you like or are needing extra income to secure your retirement what are you doing about it. I’m not a great writer, computer wiz or some guru marketing guy, but I’ve managed to start generating a decent amount of monthly income from not wasting my time online playing games, chatting with friends and surfing the Internet reading useless information. Instead I’vetaken that time to learn how to make extra income in my spare time. I’d like to encourage each and everyone of you that wants to get off welfare, increase your monthly income or save for retirement to do like I have and take the time to do something to better yourself in your spare time.
There are some great resources out there to help you get started here are a few of my suggestions.
1. Join the Affiliate Academy - Thiis by far the best investment I’ve made. You will be part of a group of experienced Internet money makers that teach many different ways to make extra income using websites. Yes I am a member if anyone has questions or want to know more shoot me an email. Update: The Acadamey has for the time being closed its registration to new members.
2. READ and UNDERSTAND basic SEO Grizzly’s site Make Money Online. This is where it all started for me. Griz will teach you everything you need to get started if you follow his advice. I was a huge skeptic at first.
2. Learn to use Private Label products to make extra income here This may not be for the beginners but has tons of valuable articles to help you start building your sites. Yes I do use this site as well.
3. QUIT wasting your time reading and surfing without a purpose in mind.
Just to let you know the two resources listed above are the only sites I used to get started making extra income for my retirement. There are many other good sites for reading about this topic and I mentioned several of them in a previous post called. Extra Income Online Takes Friends There is no reason anyone especially those unemployed can’t be making extra income to help better their financial position. A side note I expect to be making over $1000 this month for the first time. It does take some time and effort on your part but, if you use the time you normally waste browsing the Internet you can be on your way to securing your retirement too. Even my kids are starting to take notice as they can make more income online rather than working a parttime job.

making extra income online is quite easy. If you willing to learn and put in some effort. I recommend that if you are interested in learning how to make money online that your read Grizzly’s website that I listed above as my second resource. What I would advise is not to buy any make money online products without doing your own research first. Many people that start out trying to make money online often buy every product on the market, but it’s not necessary to get started. The only thing I would recommend to a beginner are the ones I’ve listed above
