Many of the comments I’ve been receiving lately have been focused on jobs and job creation. With the downturn of the economy and the bleak outlook for the automotive business many in the area have already lost their jobs or are really worried about losing the one they have now.

Many Decatur Small Businesses participated in a Christmas Open House event over this past weekend. I have recieved an email looking for some feedback from the public in regards to this holiday promotion. Participating in this event were 23 locally owned small businesses that are known by most throughout the Decatur, IN area.

I was amazed to find that the Decatur Daily Democrat today published an article reporting that the North Adams county school board is considering firing the assistant principal. As most in the area know, He was put on administrative leave after pleading guilty
Well I see that our little town has now finally caught the attention of all the Fort Wayne media. Before I go further I would like to ask all the readers from the last few days visit the original story posted on wane.com and leave them a comment thanking them for their coverage.
