Did you know that Townsend Tire is now Best One Tire and Service of Decatur. Townie is now "retired" although he may be seen around the shop changing tires part time. The shop is now being managed by Kurt Gentis from Bluffton and has the backing of Paul Zurcher (you may have heard of him over 60 years in the tire business) who established the Best One group of independent tire dealers for buying power, marketing and a shared philosophy of excellent customer service. The name says it all – BEST ONE. You should really check them out

The information stated here is not exactly accurate. Some of the degrees listed offered at Ivy Tech are not available at the Fort Wayne campus. Futhermore, it is becoming nearly impossible to get into a Nursing program without a wait of a year or two. The top 3 Colleges or Universities, all have waiting lists. Many technical schools have popped up recently, but do not have accredidation into the North Central College and University accrediting agency. This means credits will not transfer to another college or university. Also, potential employers will not look at degrees from technical schools as being equal to colleges or universities. Yes, the demand for nurses will be there, once the babyboomers retire. Interestingly, nursing schools in the area are pumping out atleast 150 new grads every Spring. Will Fort Wayne be saturated with new grads?

These are just my observations in the last two years I have been taking my prerequisites. Now, I am considering switching majors.

Well, Kruse has "sold the farm". No word on how much his Canadian friend paid for the Auction but Kruse says he "MIGHT" have enough to pay the folks he's stiffed so far. Oh yeah, he's not the Republician County Chairman any more. He was rather quitely removed from that office.
My money is on more people losing more money that he will ever pay.
Time will tell. Come to Auburn for Labor Day. Thier only concern is how much money you spend. Not what you get for it!

Kruse Auctions .
We also attended alot of auctions with Kruse. We had the same proplem ,took 8 months to get paid for a 66 Mustang i sold.It also took 10 months to finaly get a title and doucumantaion for our 2007 Shelby GT-H Hertz we purchased. In 2009 we took a couple more cars to sell ,I played there game,I held the title,s Cash ONLY.They were also very eager to have us enter a car with no entry fee.We attented the spring 2010 Auburn Auctin sale On my terms. No entry fee,I hold the title (CASH ONLY).It,s to bad they took the fun out of attending these auctions. We met alot of good sound family people there from all over the country including Canada. The word in the car world travels faster than you think.I would like to see Auburn,Ind. back on the map as a good safe honest place to sell cars and enjoy your self ,with out the worry of getting ripped off.

How's it look now that President O has had time to reveal his agenda. I for one don't think that we need to "redistribute the wealth", sounds like a bank robber defending his actions after he is caught and he is on trial. I hope we can have a fair election in 2010 and 2012. America is in trouble and the bank robbers are in charge for now! America - Back to the principals that we were founded upon.

My wife attended IPFW back in the early 90's and she got the run around from her advisor and when it was time to apply to the nursing program she was told she had to retake some classes to get a better gpa. She did as "advised" and still wasn't able to get in. She drove across the street to IVY Tech and was told exactly what she needed to do and got into there LPN program without a problem. I think IPFW has gotten to big any you just become a number and $ sign to them.

Those Post lights are a real eye sore in my opinion. I tore mine down and build a nice brick pedistal and put a lantern style outdoor light on it. Looks much nice and the brick lasts longer than that post light

My name is Rodney, and i too am a victim of Kruse Auctions. They chose to, and still after over 4 months, have not payed me for my car they sold. This seems to be quite a re-occurring experience, them not paying people. I have posted my story in my blog where i hope more people can post their experiences and eventually get something done about this ongoing saga. I welcome anyone here to come read it, and or post your Kruse auction experiences. Look forward to hearing from you.

Anxious to know how the quotes came in for your green gremodeling project. When we've shopped around for eco-friendly alternatives for our remodels, we've discovered that they often carry a 20-25% price premium over standard materials.
