General Electric one of America’s oldest and largest companies announced it is looking to sell its appliances business. They have hired Goldman Sachs to conduct the auctioning of the long standing part of the General Electric Company. The Indiana primary election is being held today and the voting is under way. The polls opened at 6am this morning and voting will continue until 6pm. Bellmont High School’s Saturday evening showing of the musical ”Beauty And The Beast” was excellent. It was a huge improvement over the opening night performance. Most all of the issues they had in the previous showing were corrected. All the performers did an excellent job. The crowd gave a huge standing ovation at the end of the show expressing their overwhelming satisfaction with the musical. Hats off to all those that participated both on stage and off. Job well done.
I went to the Bellmont High School’s opening night of “Beauty And The Beast”. The play was pretty good overall and the costumes were great. They have a few bugs to work out with the microphones as the orchestra was a bit to loud and drowned out some of the singing. All things considered opening night went pretty well. Indiana voters can go see ex-President Bill Clinton this evening at Bellmont Middle School. Bill Clinton will be speaking at the Bellmont Middle School gym at 7:30pm. Bellmont High School located in Decatur, In will be performing the musical “Beauty And The Beast”. You will have the oppotunity to come and enjoy the show on April 18th, 19th and 20th. You can contact the shool office to purchase tickets in advance. The Bellmont Brave Generation show choir will also be traveling this weekend to Hanover, In to perform in a show choir competition hosted by Southwestern High School Epirit. I believe this will be the final show choir competition of the year for the Bellmont Brave Generation.
