I was sitting at home watching tv when all of the sudden we lost power and I heard the wind picking up. I stepped outside to see some of the highest winds I’ve seen pass through the area in a long time. Where I live there wasnt a lot of rain or hail but the winds were incredible. General Electric one of America’s oldest and largest companies announced it is looking to sell its appliances business.  They have hired Goldman Sachs to conduct the auctioning of the long standing part of the General Electric Company.  General Electric left the Decatur, In facility many years ago but still has a pretty large presence in the Fort Wayne Indiana area. Bellmont High School’s Saturday evening showing of the musical ”Beauty And The Beast” was excellent.  It was a huge improvement over the opening night performance.  Most all of the issues they had in the previous showing were corrected.  All the performers did an excellent job.  The crowd gave a huge standing ovation at the end of the show expressing their overwhelming satisfaction with the musical.  Hats off to all those that participated both on stage and off.  Job well done.
